I still don’t want to pay for free games, but I must say that I’ve never really disagreed with any changes that Wargaming has made to their games, and would trust them with my money more than with Pix.
Sure, you can get better tanks by paying, but they’re not nearly as OP as the ones in WR are.
Plus, due to you needing experience AND silver to get new tanks, it’s a play to win game that is largely pay to win proof
Yeah, thats the upside that I really like. It also doesn't need a proper gaming platform (Only needs a normal Laptop's specs to run). It also occupies you time because grinding (and battles that could last u to 15 minutes). The graphics engine is also very proper. See this image (BigWorld, original GE) vs this one (New GE) if you don't know what I'm talking about.
WWR Needs a Android Enumerator, which requires a powerful platform. Otherwise, Ipad is needed.
Overall imo, WoT is more enjoyable and less frustrating than WWR.
Scouting is actually much more complicated in WoT. You have to scout the enemy positions, probably be spotted, retreat like mad back behind cover whilst avoiding enemy fire, then indicate the sector in which the enemy is in, wait for the tanks to come over, by which time you’ll probably be dead or have to run away again.
Theres a difference between Passive, Semi-Passive, and Active scouting.
-Passive scouting is when you take a position (Behind a bush) in where you can spot the enemy without getting spotted yourself (Which means not firing). Typically, it requires patience, high camo values, and a good view range. Passive scouting takes place in open area maps with fields, nature, etc and not towns and cities.
-Semi-Passive scouting is when you run towards a probable enemy position and once you light them up, you then dash towards cover, using speed to avoid damage. Again, no firing. This is sometimes called yolo-scouting.
-Active scouting is when you light them up and start firing, again using speed to avoid taking damage. Sometimes, you dash to cover, but in some cases, the active scout hangs around before going somewhere else.
And i still hate the current balance of what was formerly premium ammunition in the game. Spend more for rounds which are pretty much just better, though i can handle HEAT rounds because tracks are spaced armor lul
at the very least they should give you a big bonus for bouncing a gold round - especially from a tank 3 tiers above you.

italian line is useful because they use prototypes/drafts (vehicles that were never produced), and also italian SPGs - which will be the TDs - were actually half decent.

So far, the first nation with the wheeled vehicles will be France. That nation, according to developers, had a long affair with armored cars. Especially the FL 30(?), which was used until 1970. Some nations still use the FL 30.
ERA can sort of protect from APFSDS, but not as effectively as most forms of armor
spaced armor protects a little bit against everything, in particular HEAT rounds because they detonate early and thus the jet dissipates. They also mean that a round which is designed to punch through armor might blunt itself and be less effective at penetrating the next bit of armor, etc
They both have different roles. The British Scorpion is better suited to marshy/hilly terrain and for scouting, skirmishes etc.
The US Scorpion was meant to be a TD but was a bit of a failure (The Ontos vehicle was better in my opinion, despite being equally radical).
Interesting Fact: Scorpions and Scimitars were the only armoured vehicles able to navigate through the tough terrain on the Falkland Islands in the war against Argentina in the early 80s to repel the illegal invasion.
I now have the ARL 44 after grinding to get the turret that doesn’t look like a garden shed. I mean seriously, the default turret looks as if they took the KV-2’s turret and made it even larger.
Also, this happened yesterday:
I was using my Churchill VII along with 2 teammates using KV-1s tanks and we were advancing together, with the rest of our teammates on the other side of the map. Then we reach an area with several barricades ideal for hull down positions. The moment we do that, we are ambushed by the entire enemy team (who were using a T-43, a T-34/85, an IS, a Hellcat, a German VK 30H tank, a Churchill VII and a Sherman Firefly).
We survived for half the game in a 3 vs 7 situation and inflicted heavy damage on all of them, killing the Hellcat, T-43 and Sherman Firefly before our stupid teammates finally arrived and helped us kill the rest. We won 7-1...how???
There was one situation where I was alone on a flank. I was behind a rock with my gun exposed. I was using my KV-2 and there was a TOG II, O-Ni, and O-I exp. I managed to scare the O-Ni away, kill the O-I, and deter the TOG II from going further. The only thing that was annoying me was the G.W. Panther. By the time the team capped, I was down to 11 hp. The TOG poked around and tracked for the Jackson that was sniping.
There was an M4 that poked out on my right and I backed into cover when I saw him. Team capped out as soon as I did.
If the client refueses to launch/update, go to settings, and then do an integrity check.
The probable reason why it happens is because you cutting the data stream of the files after you close out the game. Usually when I turn off my computer, I make sure the client is not running. You can do that by right clicking the taskbar, opening task manager, and stopping programs there.
Also make sure that when you update, you don't cut the stream of data.
I tried to download something and my drive's fles got corrupted. All of the files had been formated I could'nt launch the game center for an integrity repair. I could'nt launch the uninstall application.
Only thing that annoys me is that whenever I try to sidescrap with the enemy on the right, that machine gun/AA miniturret is always the one part they try to shoot when I try and hide the front turret armor (Which is another weakspot)
The path through the SARL is the easiest imo. SARL top gun sucks because it doesn't fit my DPM needs (With the exceptions of the derp guns). I perfer the fully upgraded 47mm (has 106mm of pen, which somehow is better than the 75mm guns .-.)
I used to find the AT-2 terrifying. Me (in a 6pdr Churchill I), and two teammates using an M4 Sherman and M5 Stuart went up against one, hit it at least 2 dozen times all around, and they all bounced off. He was the last once left on the enemy team.
If you use Windows, then for next time opening suspicious stuff use Windows Sandbox...it isolates anything opened using it and separates it all from personal files data etc. And it’ll delete anything in it once it is closed.
As for now...I’d get antivirus such as Norton, McAfee etc.
if festive atmosphere - there's an event in WoT where you can collect ornaments to improve festive atmosphere, X being the highest level, at each level you get a discount on tanks of that tier, plus you get 4 female crewmembers throughout, a bunch of free large kits, and through collecting types of ornaments you get bonuses to free xp, xp, credits, and crew xp (I currently have +40% of each)
if for defender - i don't quite understand either.
and really, it's not specifically the LTG, it's just light tanks in general. They're very cramped, so shots that penetrate you at all are likely to hit a variety of modules. I should know, I have a WZ-131
The better engine would allow me to engage faster - currently anything uphill makes me half the speed of the Vk
The top gun would actually help because it's lighter
the Top suspension gives me +3 deg/sec turning - which is a boost of 25%. That's pretty significant
Turns slow AF, meaning I can potentially be flanked and destroyed by any tank - if they can get behind me, they might be able to get under my turret where I can't fire back and they can just kill me from behind
Stock turret here is basically a curvey turret and looks more of a prototype of the upgraded turret.
Over there is just a giant fridge on its side .-.
French tanks are generally not suited for sidescraping. Often (frequently or often, pick one), the side armor is too (tooooooooo) weak for auto bounce. Remember the 2 calibers rule (HE doesn't apply here)
1. Angles cannot exceed 75* for AP and APCR while for HEAT is 85*. If this happens, an auto bounce will happen.
2. If the Caliber of the opposing gun is 3x the thickness of the effective armor its going against, penetration will always happen.

Normalization often happens with both AP and APCR. When hitting the armor, the shell angles itself by -5* to -10* from its original entry angle. Over the history, shell designers have designed shells to maximize normalization. For example. When a armor plate angled at 65*, the overall effective armor is doubled. Lets say: 188mm of effective armor. A shell with an average penetration of 198mm may bounce if it not normalized, but because it happens, it increases the chance for a penetration, which in turn, decreases the effective armor value when the caculation is made by the game engine.
And the BDR G1 doesn’t have spaced armour either >_<
I consider the ARL 44 to be in a special class of its own, as while it has great firepower and a high ROF, and good speed, it has paper thin armour (even the front armour is under-average).
However, (new topic) I don’t understand the criticism that the Churchill VII gets. Its armour is among the best in its tier (which is VI, tanks with similar protection include the KV-IS) and while it isn’t fast, neither are most heavies and it has a great ROF. Only problem is slightly lacklustre firepower (usually around 160 damage), which carries on into the Black Prince (although it is slightly improved with a 17pdr and an even higher ROF)
People like to complain about the armament of the Churchill VII and Black Prince. 75mm/76mm guns are underpowered by the time a tank reaches VII and up, which are overshadowed by the 85mm, 88mm, 90mm, 100mm, 105mm, 120mm, 122mm, 130mm, 140mm, 145mm, 150mm, and 152mm.
The 85mm on the T-34/85 is trash and has a slow ROF. What I do know is while the ROF on the 122mm and 152mm guns used on ubiquitous Soviet KV-IS, IS and KV-2 tanks is very slow, it hurts like hell (usually around 300-400 damage minimum, 900 if critical hit)
In WoT, Churchill VII is considered one of the worst tanks at its tier, because it has to commit, has next to no gun depression, is terrible stock, can't handle hills, is easily tracked going around corners, suffers from tanks that are taller, can't handle HE or artillery at all.
Maxed out Tiger working for Tiger II, maxed out T20 working for M26, maxed out M7 working for T21, maxed out M4 working for M4A3E2, maxed out Crusader working for Cromwell, maxed out IS working for IS-M, maxed out TVP-VTU working for Skoda T50, maxed out 14TP working for 25TP, maxed out Strv 74 working for Leo, maxed out T-10 working for Obj 277, and not maxed out Mauschen, not maxed out T25AT, and not maxed out P26/40.
but even equal tier HTs and TDs struggle to pen them frontally. And aside from the Tiger I, all the Tiger tanks have pretty good armor, considering. The tier 6 tigers are only a little underarmored, and the Tiger P and II are extremely tough.
in WoT, there are KV-2s with the little gun and who are still grinding, but most of the time it's a big derp gun with HE that doesn't care about your armor. It will damage you pretty much no matter where it hits (gun and tracks might absorb it)
And in real life HESH is explodes a few milliseconds later when compared to HE...this is so that it spreads across the entire armour plate before blowing up, disintegrating the armour plate from the inside and killing the crew.
and of course there are those mods that display a person's WN8 score and so people say 'oh look my team sucks' and commit suicide, or they stat pad, or blah blah blah blah blah i killed someone over that.
Full health Strv 1 ran away from a P.43 bis, letting him cap and losing us the game.
so when an E25 took him down to 100hp i finished the job.
German tanks suffer from extremely large and thin lower front plates, low engine power, and flat armor, as well as commonly slow turning, with the exception of the Leopard and RhmPz tanks (which are extremely thinly armored)
It’s substantially faster than the Churchill VII, which is a relief and for some reason has more protection (I know it has more health but its armour isn’t much better).
However, I do wish the turret and especially the hull front (where the hull machine gun is) was sloped. Also the 17pdr is barely adequate for Tier VI...why it’s on a Tier VII tank is probably for historical reasons.
