Missile (Weapon Type)
Weapons of the Missile type fire unguided self propelled missiles. The projectiles travel relatively slowly compared to other weapon types, but they explode upon impact, causing splash damage. Splash damage allows missiles to damage nearby enemy robots, robots protected by an Ecu, and robots behind cover. Direct hits cause direct damage as well as splash damage, and rockets also have a chance of Critical Hits. All missiles travel in a flat trajectory except the SM Noricum and Zenit, which fire in a high howitzer or mortar like arc.
