Introduction[]
The Doc is a medium robot with 4 medium hardpoints, but can only use two at a time.
Ability[]
The Doc has the Quick Draw ability which allows it to switch the two active medium weapons with the two medium weapons stored on its back. This gives the Doc a high rate of fire since the weapons stored on its back automatically reload. The ability has a 15 second cooldown time.
Players can use all of the same type of weapon or a combination of kinetic, rocket and plasma. Using weapons with different ranges allows Docs to be both support and a skirmisher.
Strategy[]
This robot is one of the three Quick Draw robots alongside Jesse and Butch.
The Doc has a relatively high speed for a medium robot allowing it to also act as a solid beacon capper in the lower leagues since it can often outgun its light opponents and has more hit points than its light competitors, which are common beacon-cappers. In the middle leagues the Doc should play as a mid-range support robot to make sure it takes less damage. However, in lower leagues, it can perform a wide variety of roles, including beacon-capping, brawling and providing covering fire for allies to advance.
While providing covering fire for allies, Doc users must ensure that their robot does not come within 350m of the enemy. Doing so will result in the Doc entering the range of the dangerous 300m and 350m brawler weapons, which, considering that the Doc will be geared for mid-range in this role, will not only outgun the Doc but also obliterate its mediocre health pool. As such, staying at a safe distance of around 450m is recommended for Doc commanders in this role.
By making strategic use of the ability of the Doc, you can potentially fire continuously for extended periods of time. It can also be used to switch between two different sets of situational weapons (e.g. Orkan and Taran) in order to be ready for all possible situations. If you are performing the latter role, be sure to prepare special weapons in advance (ideally Energy and Explosive weapons) to be ready for any situation, so you can counter any robot regardless of if they have a shield or not. Kinetic weapons are ill-advised because of their inability to penetrate any shields (although they do double damage to physical shields).
Counterplay: The Doc can be intimidating, with 4 medium weapons ready to unleash hell on anyone it encounters. However, something most commanders fail to realise is that it can only fire one set of them at a time. Therefore, assuming the robot just used its ability, any engagement lasting under 15 seconds with the robot leaves it with just the firepower of 2 medium weapons, which in Tier 2 is not that much. Furthermore, the robot's low-ish HP means that it can be obliterated in one clip by enough burst-damage weapons.
Threat Measure: The Doc is a very versatile robot, and with 2 sets of 2 medium weapons is capable of outputting a lot of damage and gaining double or even infinite ammo. However, due to its low health, engagements using it can end disastrously if not commanded correctly. Overall, this robot is a mediocre threat as a Tier 2 mech.

Overview[]
It was anticipated that Doc would be a "gunslinger", such that the appropriate weapon would be the Punisher T. Equipping 4 Tulumbases or Orkans will make good use of the Quick Draw ability to exploit reload times and protect themselves and beacons. Although Doc has limited knife fighting ability (due to the low HP), the Quick Draw ability makes for a good all-purpose robot.

- The Doc was released during the 2016 Christmas event, it was also available as a token purchase on the 27th of January to the 12th of February and was available for gold in 3rd Anniversary event, starting from April, 28th 2017; then finally, on 7th on June was finally released for IP. It is available for gold
- The holstered weapons can be "shot off” just like the active ones due to critical damage.
- Doc is named after Doc Holliday, John Henry "Doc" Holliday (August 14, 1851 – November 8, 1887) was an American gambler, gunfighter, dentist, and a good friend of Wyatt Earp. He is most well known for his role as a temporary deputy marshal in the events leading up to and following the gunfight at the O.K. Corral. During development, the Doc was originally labeled as 'Doc Holiday'. The other two quick draw bots (Jesse and Butch) were originally labeled as 'Jesse James' and 'Butch Cassidy' for the same reason.
- When Doc swaps its weapons, they automatically begin to reload, even if they would not normally do so (for example, Tarans with a few rounds left).
